Information for Venues
The
following information should act as an aid to Event Organisers and Entertainment
Managers in assessing the suitability of our services for both your venue
and the clients.
Event Coverage:
PhotoPartyPeople attend all types and sizes of events. We regularly photograph
private events with between 100 and 1000 guests and have multiple photographers
available. We believe in personal and reciprocal business relationships.

Dinner Dances, Black Tie Events, Christmas Parties, Corporate Functions,
Staff Social Events, Wedding Receptions, Venetian Balls, Charity Balls,
Charity Fundraisers, Summer Balls, School Discos, School Proms, School
Balls, Leavers Balls, University Balls, Freshers Balls, Undergraduate
Balls, Graduation Balls, Surprise Birthdays, Engagement Parties, Anniversaries,
70's Theme Nights, Murder Mysteries, Awards Ceremonies, Rag Balls, Fundraising
Galas, Retirement Parties and Reunions - to name the most common events.
Venue
requirements:
PhotoPartyPeople use the latest portable studio equipment including Swiss
made Elinchrom Studio Flash Systems and Muslin Back Drops that can be
set up almost anywhere. However, ideally our Photographers would work
in a minimum area of 4m x 4m in order to set up a studio and obtain good
lighting conditions suitable for group photography.
Where this is not possible due to limited space or due to the requirement
for more Candid Journalistic Photography for events such as seated Dinner
Celebrations or roaming Casino Nights for example, PhotoPartyPeople's
Professional Event Photographers will use Digital SLR Cameras with Flash
Guns to capture your Event Photos - only requiring a small area for printing
and distributing Event Photos on-site. Please note that this form of Party
Photography generally generates less sales than Portable Studio Photography.
Photo
Services:
Using high-tech Wireless Professional Event Photography Equipment, PhotoPartyPeople
can quickly provide beautifully framed stunning photos in almost any environment.
The Mitsubishi Dye-Sublimation Photo Printers allow PhotoPartyPeople to
preview, print and frame the standard 6x9" Event Photos on-site usually
in well under 2 minutes!
These lab quality prints are More Durable, UV Resistant and Water Resistant
than inkjet prints. For this reason PhotoPartyPeople do not currently
use inkjet printers on-site.
The majority of PhotoPartyPeople's Event Photo Sales are via 'Cash &
Carry' or 'Pay As You Go' services, whereby the guests Event Photos are
taken in a staged portable studio environment, then previewed, printed,
framed, paid for and distributed on-site. However, some Event Organisers
prefer to 'Bulk Buy', paying for a limited number of their guests' Event
Photos at a discounted rate. The later is particularly true for corporate
Clients and for those organising fully paid Social Functions where guests
are unlikely to be carrying any funds with them. Experience shows that
Cash & Carry services work best at evening events in Hotels and Venues
where guests DO NOT frequent a FREE bar!
PhotoPartyPeople provide a Free Private Online Gallery Service, unless
working a multiple function venue, so that the Client's Event Photos can
be viewed following an event.
Event Photo CDs are available on request - providing the client or guests
with the entire collection of photographs. This is a popular item following
Party Event Photography.
Off-site PhotoPartyPeople can create large specialist prints such as A3
Canvas Prints. If your client requires any such services or has needs
that you may think are out of the ordinary then please call our team who
will be happy to discuss possible solutions with you. Specific event details

Event
Costs:
The costs to the Venue are NIL. In fact, PhotoPartyPeople pay the Venue
a percentage of all 'Bulk Buys' and on-site revenues for many bookings
or recommendations.
Bookings that are generally exempt from commision are charity events and
school events where the funds go to the charity or where the photos are
sold for a minimal fee.
The costs to the Clients of the venue are dependent on the package chosen.
We rarely charge for attendance at events though some large, distant or
unusual functions may require a deposit towards the preparation of the
event. For Cash & Carry events there is generally no charge to the
Client. If the client is Bulk Buying Event Photos then there will usually
be an upfront payment required. CDs containing the entire collection of
unwatermarked gallery photographs are also available on request for a
small fee.
The costs to the Guests of the clients are either NIL if the client 'Bulk
Buys' Event Photos, or a reasonable price per Photo - these costs are
dependent on the type of function.
As you can see this is a fairly easy Service to Promote even to clients
on a tight budget. For example, PhotoPartyPeople cover many Wedding Receptions
where the client has already paid a Professional Wedding Photographer
to produce their main Album but later found that they will not photograph
